Lore of The Wild
Estuary '21
MARCH - MAY 2021

You'll have found me wandering around Lesnes Abbey Wood on the edges of south-east London and Kent, getting into the minutiae of sounds and life, below, in and amongst the trees, and the many creatures whose home is there.

With two writers, a director, an artist map-maker and a group of actors, a connective web of stories and voices was woven in sound by me, for you to download and take with you on a specially designed audio walk called 'Lore of the Wild'.

Commissioned by METAL and London Borough of Bexley for Estuary 21, 'Lore of the Wild' writers are Sophie Austin & Bernadette Russell. The audio walk will be available to download for a limited period from 22nd May – 13th June 2021, it is accompanied by a beautiful map by artist Melanie Smith, it will also be able to be enjoyed via a handset which you can ask for at the Cafe at Lesnes Abbey Wood, so you can leave your phone at home.
