THE DING FOUNDATION
The Ding Foundation is a visual theatre company that uses puppets, objects, performers & music to tell visual stories that explore absurd and poignant aspects of life. The company was formed in 2001 by two designer/makers - Amelia Pimlott and Simon Plumridge (Platform 4) who decided to make a show about Birds called 'Being a Bird'. Having met Hannah through pioneering devising theatre company 'People Show', they invited her to make the music for the show. After the companies second production 'Unexploded Bomb' Simon left the company to focus on directing with Platform 4. Hannah and Amelia continued to make Ding Foundation shows with other collaborators and to work together on other projects. Productions include 'Hanging by a Thread', 'Wild Life' & 'The Fir Tree'.
